Claims Process

Once your claim has been lodged with your insurance company the process of getting your property repaired begins. 

Your insurance company will notify us of your claim and contact information.

Your claim information will be entered into our BuildPRO job management system.

You will receive a call from our reception team within 24 hours of lodging your claim to confirm your claim details.

An estimator will be allocated to inspect and report on the damage, cause and quote on the repairs required at your property. 

24-hours prior to the scheduled assessment you will receive an email from BuildPRO confirming your appointment and advising who your estimator will be and their contact information.

Once the inspection is complete:

If your claim meets the guidelines of your PDS and is within our pre-approved limit with your insurer we will proceed with the repair.

  • Your excess payment will be requested (if applicable) and a copy of the authorised repairs will be provided to you to sign.
  • Trades will be allocated to contact you in regards to commencing repairs.

If your claim does not meet the guidelines of your PDS or is above our approval, a copy of the supervisors report will be sent to your insurer.
